James Corden will take on Michelle Obama in a game of dodgeball on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden in London’.
The 40-year-old presenter is bringing his talk show to the UK capital this month and to mark the first episode the former First Lady – the wife of ex-President Barack Obama – leads Team USA against Corden’s Team UK in an all-star match line-up which will include Melissa McCarthy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Harry Styles, Kate Hudson, Allison Janney, Mila Kunis, Lena Waithe, John Bradley and ‘The Late Late Show’ bandleader Reggie Watts.
And that is just the start of the fun as further episodes will see Chris Hemsworth appear in an exclusive sketch where he battles Corden to see who can hack it as an employee at one of London’s finest restaurants.
Also, the cast of new ‘X-Men’ film ‘Dark Phoenix’ – which includes Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Sophie Turner – will join Corden for a double-decker bus tour of London.
Confirmed guests for the British specials include Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Sheen, Louis Tomlinson, Gillian Anderson, Millie Bobby Brown, Paul Giamatti, Tom Hanks, Lily James, Ian McKellen, Simon Pegg and David Blaine.
Musical performances will come from Little Mix and Mumford & Sons.
‘The Late Late Show with James Corden in London’ will air from Tuesday 18 June and is available on Sky One and streaming service NOW TV in the UK and on regular channel CBS in the US.
