James ‘Arg’ Argent says Gemma Collins will "shock" people with "how good" she is on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘TOWIE’ original believes his girlfriend – who is planning to ask to marry him before the year is out – has all it takes to win the ITV skating show and revealed she hasn’t missed one training session with professional partner Matt Evers, though she has the occasional "bad day".
He told The Sun Online: "Me and Gem are really happy. She’s working so hard.
"She’s not missed one training session. Gemma is so dedicated to ‘Dancing On Ice’ she’s honestly going to shock a lot of people with how good she is and how seriously she’s taking it.
"Gemma is so confident but she does have bad days. And they’re tough for her.
"But mostly it’s good days and she’s coming on really well. I am so proud of her.
"She doesn’t seem to be scared about any aspect of it. She can win!
"When the time is right I’ll propose but not yet. It’s got to be the right time, then I’ll pull it out of the bag."
The 37-year-old reality star previously admitted she has loved every minute of rehearsals with Matt.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Gemma said: "Training’s going really good, absolutely sensational. Matt’s really lovely, he’s good fun, he gets me, gets it and gets what needs to be done."
The GC isn’t worried about her first routine or the other celebrities taking part and insisted she’s hitting the ice to win the entire competition.
She added: "I exceed expectation, I am expectation, it’s the word written after me. I’m Gemma Collins honey, I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over."
‘Dancing on Ice’ returns to screens in January, 2019, and sees Gemma compete with the likes of former ‘EastEnders’ star Richard Blackwood, ex-Westlife singer Brian McFadden and ‘Grease’ icon Didi Conn.
