Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has become embroiled in an online spat with the bosses of an Amsterdam nightclub.
The 23-year-old singer – who is currently touring Europe with the band – hit out at Club NYX following a night at the venue after a gig in the Dutch capital, complaining about the customer service she received.
She wrote: "Worst staff ever experienced at @NYXamsterdam if you’re out in Amsterdam don’t go there lol bloody awful! xjadex (sic)"
But the venue was determined not to take the criticism lying down and quickly responded: "@LittleMix fame doesn’t get you everywhere. No ID’s on you AND quite rude to our doorhost tbh. (sic)"
However, Jade subsequently defended her own behaviour.
She said: "I queued, showed ID, paid entry and drinks just like everyone else… not sure why the fame card is being dished out xjadex (sic)"
Then, the club hit back again, reiterating its early claim about Jade’s attitude.
NYX wrote: "bc we had several comments from our staff that you were trying to skip the queue & acting rude. We don’t really like that tbh! (sic)"
It was, however, the Little Mix star who had the last word on the matter, screenshotting a series of messages in which she challenged the club’s claims before blocking the venue on the social media site.
She captioned the images: "Just trying to clear something up here as I don’t like wrong opinions or lies flying around…xjadex (sic)"
In the screenshotted image, Jade claims the venue’s doorman was "incredibly, unnecessarily rude" towards her.
