Jada Pinkett Smith’s faith was tested by Will Smith’s bungee jump

Jada Pinkett Smith’s faith was "truly tested" when her husband Will Smith did a bungee jump at the Grand Canyon.
The 47-year-old star admitted she was "a little nervous" during the adrenaline fuelled experience her man took on to celebrate his 50th birthday, but even with the fear she described it as a "really great moment".
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "There was only one road out and that was out of that helicopter on a bungee.
"It was a really great moment for me, because it’s one of those moments where your faith is truly tested. When I saw him fly outside the helicopter, that’s when I got a little nervous because I didn’t know that was happening, it wasn’t actually the jump."
Jada added that she accepted it was "beyond" her control, but explained she felt like she’d done enough with her faith that Will would survive the leap.
She said: "But you know, he is covered. He is good. And I was really strong in that. So I was like, Jada, you have done some work. You and your source connection is A-OK. Yeah, I was like, it’s beyond my hands now."
The experience last week – which was streamed live on the actor’s YouTube channel – left Will with feelings of both "absolute terror and magnificent bliss".
He said while dangling on the rope: "This is some of the most beautiful stuff I have ever seen in my life.
"Nothing will ever be scarier than that. It goes from complete absolute terror to the most magnificent bliss you’ve ever felt."
Will undertook the bungee jump as part of a partnership between the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and Global Citizen to support their ongoing advocacy work on education that allows them to support Education Cannot Wait, a global initiative that provides millions of children in crisis-affected areas access to education.
