Jacqueline Jossa will celebrate being crowned Queen of the Jungle on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ with a party thrown by her family.
The 27-year-old soap star – who played Lauren Branning on ‘EastEnders’ from 2010 to 2018 – was greeted by her husband Dan Osborne, 28, moments after she was told she was the winner of this year’s series of the ITV reality show.
Now the couple have flown back to the UK with their two daughters – four-year-old Ella and 18-month-old Mia – and Jacqueline will be thrown a big bash to celebrate her victory with all her friends and family.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jac’s nearest and dearest want to celebrate with a huge party back home in south London. So many of them couldn’t fly to Australia to be there when she got out of the jungle, and they want her to know how proud they are.
"She had so much support, from her closest friends to her dance school family, and they loved seeing her conquer her fears to win the show. It will be a night to remember!"
Jacqueline’s win shocked bookmakers across the country when she overcame the odds to beat fellow soap star Andy Whyment – who plays Kirk Sutherland in ‘Coronation Street’ – last Sunday (08.12.19), having once been as big as 16/1 to get the job done in the jungle.
However, the actress was able to face her fears and grew in confidence during her tortuous month camping out in the Australian outback, during which she undertook several gruelling Bushtucker Trials.
Speaking about how proud she was to conquer her phobias and insecurities in the jungle, she explained: "I can’t believe I did all that stuff. It was not what I expected, it was a lot harder than I expected. But also I just didn’t think it was going to be such a turning point in life. I went in and was one person and I feel like I’ve come out as a different person. I feel like I’ve grown in confidence and found who I am as a person a little bit more."
