Jacqueline Jossa is open to returning to ‘EastEnders’.
The 25-year-old actress is set to bow out of the long-running soap as Lauren Branning over the next few weeks but she has admitted the door is being left open for her and she may decided to reprise her role once she’s tried her hand at something else.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "That’s the hardest part to be honest with you – leaving the character and my friends. Yeah I can go back, that is an option but I would like to go into some other things. I’d love to do definitely some more drama, I wouldn’t say no to a film, maybe even some theatre."
However, the brunette beauty won’t be taking on any other projects for the foreseeable future because she’s expecting her second child with her husband Dan Osborne.
Jacqueline – who already has two-year-old daughter Ella with the hunk – explained: "Yeah I’ve told Ella about the baby, she fully knows. She’s loving it, although every morning she goes: ‘Are we going to see baby today?’ She thinks it’s coming imminently. But it’s very hard to explain to her that you’ve got to wait and there’s a long time to wait. I don’t know how aware she is but she knows there’s a baby coming and she says: ‘I’m going to cuddle and kiss her.’
"I don’t know what it is yet but she thinks it’s a girl. She’s hoping and praying it’s a girl. Every time I say: ‘Well it could be a boy?’ And she goes: ‘No. Pink.’ She’s adamant."
The couple got married over the summer but Jacqueline doesn’t feel any different.
She added: "It’s no different. To be fair, we’ve got the house, we’ve got the kids, we’ve done it all backwards so it doesn’t feel any different. Apart from the fact I keep forgetting my name! I’m Jossa for work purposes but at home I’m Osborne."
