Jacqueline Jossa nearly abandoned final Bushtucker Trial

Jacqueline Jossa came close to abandoning her final Bushtucker Trial on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ – but she couldn’t remember what to say.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star recalled the horror of her final trial, where insects were tipped over her body and she had to place a spider in her mouth, but the actress – who ended up being crowned Queen of the Jungle – couldn’t remember the immortal words, "I’m a celebrity, get me out of here", which would’ve stopped the trial.
Speaking on ‘Capital Breakfast’, hosted by her jungle campmate Roman Kemp, she said: "Oh my … if I’d remembered the words I would have said it. Honestly, I was screaming, ‘Get me out! Get me out!’ I was looking at Ant and Dec like, ‘Please get me out.’
"Everyone’s like, ‘Oh you’re such a hero! You’re so heroic,’ and it’s like, ‘Absolutely not. I just forgot what to say.’
"They definitely edited out a lot. There was a lot of screaming.
"I was like, ‘Wow, I looked like I just done that’ – there was about three minutes extra of me just screaming the house down."
The actress – who played Lauren Branning in the BBC soap – also revealed her jungle crown has "died" and that she had to return her sceptre, which she was presented with for winning the latest ‘I’m A Celebrity’ series.
She explained: "The crown sort of died so I’ve just squished it in a thing, I’m trying to dry it out.
"And I already had to give back the other thing (the sceptre).
"I was like, ‘You gonna need this for next year?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah let me just grab that.’ "
Following the final, Jacqueline received a video message from her jungle campmate Caitlyn Jenner and her daughter Kylie Jenner.
She said: "Literally the day I got home I got a message from her, a voice, a video and it was her just like, ‘Hey Jungle Jaq! Hope you got home OK.’ And then she was like, ‘I’ve got someone here that wants to congratulate you,’ and then literally Kylie looking like a God – no make-up on either, she just looks amazing – she peered over and she was like, ‘Jacqueline!’.
"She said my name in an American accent and it was just incredible.
"She was like, ‘Thanks for baiting my dad! You’ve done so well, I’ve heard so much about you.’
"It was amazing! I’ll show you it, it was incredible."
