Jacqueline Jossa feels "overwhelmed" after winning ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 27-year-old soap star – who played Lauren Branning in ‘EastEnders’ – has given fans an update since landing back in the UK after being crowned Queen of the Jungle, admitting her life has been "a bit crazy" since she was Down Under.
Speaking on her Instagram Stories, she said: "Things have been a bit crazy since jungle life. I’m still fully overwhelmed and haven’t really processed anything."
The actress surprised the bookies when she beat Andy Whyment to the crown in last Sunday’s final (08.12.19).
However, the Queen of the Jungle is incredibly proud of all her fellow campmates and would have been happy for any of them to have won.
She explained: "Thank you to anyone who voted and whoever you voted for, whether it was me, Andy, Roman or anybody else in the whole of the camp. All 12 of us. If you’d voted for any of them I’d have been happy because I obviously love all of them. I’m overwhelmed, but would have been happy with anyone winning.
"Andy absolutely smashed it, he was amazing. So funny to live with."
Jacqueline flew back home to the UK from Oz on Wednesday afternoon (11.12.19) with husband Dan Osborne and their children, four-year-old Ella and 18-month-old Mia.
But now the jet lag from the 10-hour time difference has caught up with the star after "one long big day."
She continued: "I also feel like it was the other day but it wasn’t because it’s Thursday. I’m just confused.
"It’s been a very long 72 hours or however long, it’s felt like one day, one big long day. I’ve been up since two this morning because jet lag is a real thing."
She was then treated to a surprise welcome home party to celebrate her big win with all her close friends and family.
Jacqueline added: "My kids are like eating cake at five in the morning – we’ve got jungle cake. We had a bit of a celebration yesterday, a surprise that Daniel done for me. So, we’ve got four-year-olds eating cupcakes at five in the morning – it’s great, it’s good news. But we’re just enjoying it while it lasts."
The mum-of-two signed off by reassuring fans she will be back on social media soon but is taking time to enjoy being back with her family after a month away.
She added: "I’ll keep you updated but I’m gonna lay low a little bit and just enjoy this time with family. I just wanted to let you know that I’m not abandoning Insta, I’m just taking it all in."
