Jack Maynard has left the ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ jungle.
The YouTube vlogger has been axed from the ITV show just a few days after it returned to screens.
An ITV spokesman said: "Due to circumstances outside camp, Jack has had to withdraw from the show."
Whilst a spokesman for Jack added: "In the last few days Jack has been the subject of a succession of media stories which, given his position as a contestant on ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ – filmed in the Australian jungle, with no contact with the outside world, he has been unable to respond to.
"Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show. Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far."
Since he headed into the jungle, old tweets posted from Jack’s Twitter account used words that he himself called "inflammatory" and "insulting".
In one post made back in June 2011, he said he was "at alices with my n****s!" and he also repeatedly called people "retards".
The news of Jack’s decision to leave the show will disappoint his young fans as he has an impressive 1.2 million followers on the video sharing site.
