‘It’s all killer and no filler’ Kylie Minogue teases Tension Tour ‘goodness’

Kylie Minogue says her ‘Tension Tour’ will be “all killer no filler”.

The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ hitmaker has teased fans she will delve into her back catalogue of 37 years to perform some of her classic hits, but there will also be “heaps of new” material when she takes to the stage next year.

She is quoted by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column as saying: “I’ve done a number of festivals and one-off shows this past year and I feel you are lucky when you boil down a stock and get the goodness.

“And I feel it’s all killer no filler.

“There are 37 years of songs to play with and heaps of new stuff.”

Kylie is yet to nail down her final set list for her upcoming run of shows, because she prefers to wait for the rehearsal process to see “how it moves” her “musically”.

She added: “I am in a state right now but I know the set list won’t be there until we get well into rehearsals and see how it moves me musically.

“It’s gonna be a good time.”

The ‘Padam Padam’ hitmaker announced her ‘Tension Tour’ – her biggest for more than a decade – in September.

She said in a statement: “I am beyond excited to announce the ‘Tension Tour’ 2025.

“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the ‘Tension’ era and more.

“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far, and now get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action… and there will be a whole lot of Padaming.”

Kylie will kick start her run of shows in her native Australia on February 15th, and she will travel to Bangkok and Tokyo as part of the Asian leg of her run of gigs.

The 56-year-old star will also head to the UK in May, with a performance at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena before playing in Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, London, Nottingham and Birmingham.
