IT remake proves popular at box office

Andres Muschietti was blown away by Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal of Pennywise in the ‘IT’ remake.
The 44-year-old filmmaker helmed the new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel about a child-killing monster – who was originally portrayed by Tim Curry in a 1990 TV mini-series – and Muschietti wanted to make Pennywise ‘unpredictable’, something his lead actor did to great success.
And his starring role certainly attracted the masses, with the movie earning $327,481,748.
