Iggy Azalea wants Kesha duet

Iggy Azalea is trying to find a loophole to allow her to record a song with Kesha.
The 25-year-old rapper is desperate to duet with the ‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker – who is unable to release new music due to her ongoing legal battle with Sony Music to be released from her record contract after she alleged she was sexually assaulted by producer Dr. Luke – and has praised her pal as "awesome".
She said: "I’m trying to do something with Kesha. I’m trying to figure out how I can make it work. She’s got a lot going on and I really feel for her. I think she’s so awesome."
Iggy is particularly keen to team up with her good friend because she has the "perfect song" for the 29-year-old singer’s voice, and says Kesha is just as keen as she is for the pair to join forces on a tune.
Speaking on radio station 103.5 KTU’s ‘Cubby and Carolina In The Morning’ show, she added: "We were talking the other day on the phone and I was like, ‘I wish we would have made a song sooner.’
"Nobody anticipated this was going to happen and I have the perfect song for her and I’m trying to figure out if there is a way I can make this happen and so is she.
"That’s my thing I’m on right now, trying to figure out how I’m going to get Kesha’s voice on my song. She’s interested, we’re friends. I’m trying to duck and dive. I want it to happen."
Earlier this week, Kesha’s lawyers appealed against a Manhattan judge’s decision for her to remain under contract with Sony Music, and her legal team claimed forcing her to work with Dr. Luke is like "slavery".
But Dr. Luke’s legal team then accused Kesha of making "false allegations", saying in a statement: "The Court repeatedly stated Kesha was already free to record without Dr. Luke, and that she had not presented any facts supporting her claims.
"That’s because all the evidence – including Kesha’s own sworn testimony – show her allegations are false."
