TV show ‘I Wanna Marry Harry’ will be aired in the UK.
The reality programme, which sees 12 American women try and win over a man they think is Britain’s Prince Harry, premièred in the US last week and will now be shown on ITV2 in the UK from June 4.
The show stars Prince Harry lookalike Matthew Hicks, which has been given a course in etiquette, fine dining and horseback riding, to make sure he’s convincing as the 29-year-old royal.
The female contestants will go on a series of dates with the flame-haired hunk and one girl will be eliminated each week until there is a final winner, who will believe she is being given the option to marry a real prince after winning his heart.
She will have to decide if she is really in love with the prince, or whether she just wanted to date him because of his royal blood.
The show is already popular in America, where it is aired on FOX, and Matthew’s identity will only be revealed at the end of the show.
The programme’s tagline reads: "Will he be able to convince them he’s regal, and if he does, will they fall for the crown or fall in love with the real him?"
It is being produced by Ryan Seacrest and ZigZag Productions and was put into development last year under the title ‘Dream Date’.
The real prince, who is now single after splitting from girlfriend Cressida Bonas, is yet to comment on the show.
