Honey G is yet to negotiate an album deal.
The ‘X Factor’ rapper – who finished fifth in the competition late last month – was the first act from the singing show to nab a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco, but it seems her just-released single ‘The Honey G Show’ may make her a one-hit wonder as she’s yet to speak to bosses at the firm about creating a whole LP early next year.
She said: "It’s the kind of thing that I’d like to do to negotiate an album deal with Syco."
And, although her future music career is up in the air at the moment, the 35-year-old star – real name Anna Gilford – is hoping to bag a collaboration with Snoop Dogg.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she explained: "I would love to collaborate with Snoop Dogg. He is a hip-hop legend, and I would love to do a track with him."
And it seems her wish may come true as she has claimed the 45-year-old hip-hop legend has been in contact with her mentor Sharon Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly.
She said: "Snoop phoned Sharon’s daughter Kelly and said he wanted to work with me, but I don’t think he’s been in contact with my management yet."
Although an album is not yet on the cards, Honey – who’s from North West London – has already got another single lined up for when 2017 swings around in two weeks.
She said: "Believe it or not, one of the Syco producers has already written a second single and wants to release it in the New Year which is amazing. I have the backing of Syco and hopefully this will help in my next step in negotiating a record deal with them.
"What I want to do is negotiate a deal. We want to make it happen. I don’t think there is a specific timescale – I think they are allowed to make two singles with me, and then if they make a third, they have to make an album."
