Hollyoaks’ Danny Mac and Carley Stenson are engaged

Danny Mac and Carley Stenson have got engaged.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ stars, who have been dating for five years after meeting on the show, are set to tie the knot after announcing their happy news online last night (24.03.16).
The blonde beauty – who was known for playing Stephanie Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap – subtly revealed her beau had popped the question by posting a simple emoticon of a bride on her Twitter account, followed by a picture of a stack of wedding magazines sprawled across her floor.
Danny, on the other hand, is yet to comment on his engagement news but is currently pre-occupied starring in the ‘Legally Blonde’ musical after he impressed bosses with his portrayal of heartthrob Dodger Savage in ‘Hollyoaks’.
Since the news broke, former cast mates of the hit show have bombarded the couple with congratulatory messages.
Jorgie Porter – best known for playing ditzy blonde bombshell Theresa McQueen – wrote: "So happy congratulations @dannymaconline for getting the most perfect girl Evs to laugh at ur cr*p jokes forever .. Awwwww you guys!! Couldn’t be happier for you legends. (sic)"
Anna Schaffer, who played Ruby Button in the programme, said: "All the love to you and @dannymaconline, beaming with joy for the both of you! (sic)."
Meanwhile, since leaving the show in 2010, Carley has also gone on to carve out a career in musical theatre.
