Holly Willoughby won’t be returning to ‘This Morning’ until next year.
The 37-year-old presenter has been on a break from the daytime show while hosting ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in Australia and though the jungle show came to an end on Sunday (09.12.18), her co-host Phillip Schofield – who has been joined on the show by Rochelle Humes for the last few weeks – has warned fans not to expect her back on screen any time soon.
Asked if she’ll be back on ‘This Morning’ in 2018, he revealed on Twitter: "Nope, she can’t get back in time, the first time we’re on telly together is @dancingonice in the new year.(sic)"
Holly joined Declan Donnelly to front ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ as his presenting partner Ant McPartlin is taking an extended break from the spotlight to focus on his sobriety, and she has admitted she had a "magical" time on the show.
She said: "It’s been everything and more!
"I’m so glad I had this experience without having to eat anything.
"There is nothing like this place. It is so magical."
Dec also praised his co-host for doing an "amazing" job in the jungle.
He told her: "Holly, you’ve been amazing. Thank you so much for everything."
Holly’s final appearance on ‘This Morning’ was on October 18, where she undertook a mock Bushtucker trial that saw her put her hand is three boxes that included a remote control toy spider, some kittens and last year’s Jungle Queen Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.
After her Bushtucker ordeal, the blonde beauty received a goodbye package filled with all her favourite goodies that you can’t get in Australia, including Marmite and baked beans.
After coming off air, she wrote on Instagram: "Well that’s goodbye to @thismorning for a little bit… beautiful flowers fit for a princess from the production team curtesy of Eugene’s wedding Florist @rvhfloraldesign Feel super spoilt! … will miss you all and look after my @schofe whist I’m away… love that silver … here are a few pictures from the show including my first and LAST bush tucker trial!!!!
