Keith Lemon thinks it’s a "shame" Holly Willoughby won’t receive a proper send-off from the ‘Celebrity Juice’ crew.
The 39-year-old star recently announced she’s quitting the comedy programme in order to spend more time with her family, and Keith feels frustrated that the coronavirus lockdown has prevented him from giving Holly the send-off she deserves after 12 years on the show.
The comedian – whose real name is Leigh Francis – told ‘Good Morning Britain’: "Tonight’s her last show. Next we’ve got a programme which is looking back at ‘Celebrity Juice’ and I have a chat to Holly and say goodbye to her.
"Yeah, it’s a shame that it’s virtual rather than in the studio because I do love hugging Holly Willoughby because she gives good hugs."
Keith also revealed he’s set to meet with ITV bosses to discuss Holly’s long-term replacement on the show.
He said: "I’ve got a meeting about it today because we’ve got to get the right chemistry and everything.
"I don’t know who it is. I’ve seen a lot of names touted around. I saw Michelle Keegan was in for the running and she’s a lovely lady.
"But no one has been discussed, all that’s going to happen today."
Earlier this week, Michelle insisted she hasn’t agreed to become Holly’s replacement on ‘Celebrity Juice’.
The 32-year-old actress – who is married to fellow TV star Mark Wright – said: "I can officially say that’s not true. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a massive fan of the show. I love the show, I find it hilarious.
"But, at the minute, no, no, that’s not true."
