Holliday Grainger and Tom Burke to return for Strike: Lethal White

Holliday Grainger and Tom Burke are to return for ‘Strike: Lethal White’.
The pair will reprise their roles as Robin Ellacot and Cormoran Strike in the BBC One series – which is based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling crime novels, written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith – for a new four-part instalment in 2020.
Robert Glenister will play government minister Jasper Chiswell in the fourth series, which comes after he read the audiobook versions of the Galbraith books, including ‘Lethal White’.
Other stars include ‘Peaky Blinders’ actress Natasha O’Keeffe and London Irish’s Kerr Logan, as Strike’s ex Charlotte and Robin’s fiance Matthew respectively.
Former ‘EastEnders’ actress Sue Tully will direct the quartet of episodes.
The new series will see private detective Strike and Robin try to work out how the two cases are connected, as she goes undercover in the House of Commons.
One of the cases will see psychosis-suffering Billy Knight (Joseph Quinn) tell Strike about how he once saw a child strangled years ago.
Strike will also be hired by Robert’s alter-ego Jasper to investigate Billy’s brother Jimmy Knight (Nick Blood).
Away from the job, Strike has issues in his private life with his ex Charlotte pregnant and back in the frame.
But he also has a girlfriend who is in love with him.
J.K will executive produce the series alongside Neil Blair, Tommy Bulfin, and Ruth Kenley-Letts, and Tom Edge has penned the script.
Burke and Holliday previously starred in ‘Strike’ series ‘The Cuckoo’s Calling’, ‘The Silkworm’, and ‘Career of Evil’.
