Helen Flanagan still sleeps with her daughter.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star welcomed her little girl Matilda, whom she has with her partner Scott Sinclair, into the world 11 months ago but she has admitted she still can’t bring herself to rejig the baby’s bedtime routine yet.
She said: "I’m still sleeping with her – I’ll stop when she reaches one. I want to get her into a better routine. She goes to bed at 10pm and wakes up at around 9am but she won’t go into a cot. I know it’s probably my fault. It’s so cute sleeping next to your baby and I’ll never have that time back again. She feels safe knowing where we are. But I think it’ll be nice for Scott and I to be in our bed together and have more time in the evenings."
But, although she wants to try and persuade the little one to sleep in her own room, Helen is convinced her footballer partner doesn’t mind having his daughter in their bed.
She added to OK! magazine: "He’s fine but he isn’t the one getting up with her in the night as he has training in the morning. I get a better night’s sleep if she’s with us."
