Heather Locklear’s ex-fiancé Jack Wagner wishes her well

Heather Locklear’s ex-fiancé is praying that she gets through her "struggles."
Jack Wagner – who was briefly engaged to the actress in 2011 – is hoping that the 56-year-old star gets the help she needs after she was hospitalised recently for a psychiatric evaluation after she allegedly threatened to shoot herself.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Jack – who starred alongside Heather and Josie Bissett in ‘Melrose Place’ – said: "I just will stand by what I have said for a while and that is that we all have our struggles. We all do and some of us handle them in different ways. We either really work at getting well, you know, and it’s just about when you make that decision to do it."
Joie added of Heather’s hospitalisation: "[It’s] just sad. You know, it’s just heartbreaking. We just pray for her and hope she gets through this time."
Heather’s hospital stay comes just months after she was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, at her California home on February 25, where she was also arrested on four counts of misdemeanour battery on a police officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing a police officer after she was said to have lashed out at the attending cops.
Whilst the domestic battery charges were later dropped, Heather still faced court for her other charges in April, where she entered a plea of not guilty.
In previously released court documents, Senior Deputy Sheriff Keith Hall claimed Heather bit one of the officers, and was "agitated and uncooperative".
The documents stated: "Locklear walked to her bedroom and began to close the door. Deputy Alldredge put his foot in the doorway to prevent her from closing it, and to continue the investigation. Heather attempted to push Deputy Alldredge out of the doorway, and screamed, ‘Get the f**k out of my house!’
"She battered Deputy Alldredge by kicking him in his shin in an attempt to get his foot out of the doorway. The source was strong enough to force Deputy Alldredge’s leg out of the doorway."
Documentation also alleges Heather threatened to "shoot" the officers if they stepped foot on her property again, which lead to a search of the Thousand Oaks home for a firearm, although officers didn’t find anything in the search.
