Has Lorde revealed her album release date?

Lorde is believed to be releasing her new album in March following the release of a cryptic television advert.
The 20-year-old singer/songwriter appeared in a TV commercial which aired in her native New Zealand which showed her sitting in the back of a car eating and sipping on a soft drink.
The ad wrapped with the messages "2.3.17 NYC" and "3.3.17 NZ" which has led to fans speculating online that these will be the dates that Lorde’s second LP will drop, with them being different due to the time difference Down Under.
Since the advert was broadcast, Lorde’s Twitter bio has been changed to read "I hope the exit is joyful, and i hope never to return. (sic)"
Lorde – whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor – previously revealed last November that she was busy working on her new LP, the follow-up to her acclaimed 2013 debut ‘Pure Heroine’.
The ‘Royals’ hitmaker also teased that her new collection of tracks will reflect where her life is now, compared to her first album which dealt with her "teenage glory".
She said: "I’m not a kid any more … and writing ‘Pure Heroine’ was my way of enshrining our teenage glory, putting it up in lights forever so that part of me never dies, and this record – well, this one is about what comes next."
