Harry Styles meets Manchester bombing victim

Harry Styles met with a teenage victim of the Manchester terror attack on Wednesday (30.08.17).
The ‘Two Ghosts’ singer dedicated a performance of his song ‘Sign of the Times’ to 14-year-old Freya Lewis – who suffered multiple fractures, lacerations and burns after a bomb was detonated at an Ariana Grande concert in May – while filming his BBC concert special, reducing the teenager and her family to tears.
Freya’s sister, Georgia Lewis, told Us Weekly magazine: "[Harry] said he was dedicating [the song] to his friend Freya. We were all crying after that."
Harry performed some of his solo material and sat down for an interview with Nick Grimshaw for the TV special, and afterwards, he headed backstage to meet Freya.
Georgia said: "It was an incredible night. Freya was very happy and extremely emotional to meet him."
Georgia shared a photo of the 23-year-old One Direction singer giving her sister a kiss on the cheek and admitted they had all had an unforgettable evening.
She wrote on Facebook: "[She] was over the moon in floods of tears.
"As a family we will never forget the kindness of everyone who worked hard to get us tickets and the night itself. Thank you everyone for your support, love you all!!"
Harry’s BBC special – which will air in November – was announced last month.
At the time, host Nick said: "Harry is a great performer and full of so many wonderful stories about his extraordinary career, which he’ll be sharing with us."
Meanwhile, Guy Freeman, the editor of special events and formats at BBC Studios, explained the program will allow viewers to get closer to the British star.
He said: "These shows are all about creating a world in which superstars like Harry feel incredibly comfortable and alongside their brilliant, live performances, can simply have fun and enjoy revealing more of themselves to viewers than is ever normally possible."
