Harry Styles was asked for a selfie at his grandmother’s funeral.
While the One Direction singer is usually happy to pose for pictures with fans, his sister Gemma Styles revealed an admirer once went too far when they asked for a selfie with Harry at their grandmother’s memorial.
Writing in her column for The Debrief, Gemma said: "My most frustrating personal experience of this was the ‘friend’/distant relative at my grandma’s funeral who was trying to bring in her granddaughter or niece or someone to have a picture with my brother. At a funeral. Our grandmother’s funeral. ‘Smh’ doesn’t really cover it."
Harry and Gemma’s grandmother Beryl Styles passed away in 2014 at the age of 86.
Meanwhile, earlier this year a hairdresser revealed she was hit with death threats after posting a selfie with Harry, 22, to her Instagram page.
Amy Whelan bumped into Harry as he was shopping at a supermarket in London and uploaded a picture of them together with the caption "Quick little selfie with Harry Styles".
However, comments on the picture included: "If you don’t tell me where Harry Styles is, I will kill you."
Amy said: "I was shocked that a pic with Harry Styles could cause such an uproar.
"Since I took the photo I have been inundated with desperate fans. Some are quite jealous of me – when all I did was get a quick selfie of him."
