Gregg Wallace feels "fitter and leaner" than he was aged 25 after losing four stone.
The 55-year-old TV presenter has been using the coronavirus lockdown to get fit, and is now in the best shape of his life after sticking to a five-day workout routine.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Friday (03.04.20), he said: "I’m 55 now. I’m fitter and leaner than I was at 25 years old. I’ve been putting workouts up on Instagram, it’s not for super-fit people.
"I just wanted to inspire everybody to have a go.
"My PT sent me a five-day workout and each day I’m keeping that up.
"Food – you can eat as much as you want of the right things, as much veg as you want, as much fruit as want."
Gregg – who has kids Libby, 22, and Tom, 25, with his second wife Denise Wallace, and 11-month-old Sid with wife Anne-Marie Sterpini – used to weigh over 16 stone but vowed to change his lifestyle in 2017 announcing he had given up alcohol and fry ups.
His update comes after the ‘MasterChef’ star shared a video of his workouts on his Instagram account on Wednesday (01.04.20), revealing he has reached his goal weight after three years of hard work.
He said: "Good morning it’s 6am, I’m going to do some exercising. I’ve hit my goal weight, I’m now just below 12 stone which means I’ve lost four stone."
What’s more, Gregg has been sharing his cooking skills on social media during the crisis as he doesn’t get to show off his talents on the BBC One cooking competition.
He added: "I love to cook but on ‘Masterchef’ no one sees me cook, so I thought I’m stuck at home this is a great opportunity, since I’ve been in lockdown I do the shopping and I’m cooking lunch for the family so it’s five of us and a baby.
"My wife’s family is Italian and they’re all good cooks so I feel like I have to raise the bar."
