Greg James has to "get back into his life" after the "intense" ‘Sounds Like Friday Night’ show.
The 32-year-old television personality has to take some time away from his phone to "calm down" after hosting the BBC One music entertainment show because it is all very intense.
He said: "My Saturdays when I’ve been hosting ‘Sounds Like Friday Night’ are spent trying to calm down. It’s a very intense show. We’ll have done a day of writing, then a day of rehearsals before the show. I’ll share some videos the next morning, but after midday on Saturday, I try to get back into my life, and not be on my phone."
Greg recently climbed the UK’s three highest peaks and cycled in between them for Sport’s Relief and whilst he is amazed by his achievement, his body still doesn’t feel "that great".
He told The Sun’s TV magazine: "My body doesn’t feel that great since I finished my Sport Relief challenge. I’m still reeling a bit. My internal systems are saying, ‘You are an idiot. What have you done to me?’ I’m getting some physiotherapy on my knees, but I feel good in my brain and incredibly proud of what turned out to be a two-week challenge. It will never be repeated again, though – not ever. I’m going to have a special ceremonial service where I put my bicycle into a crematorium, watch it burn and scatter the ashes over the Scottish Highlands."
