Grant Bovey told Anthea Turner baby problems ruined their marriage

Anthea Turner has claimed her ex-husband Grant Bovey told her he would have "possibly" stayed with her if they could’ve had children together.
The 57-year-old television presenter has admitted she was struck a "double blow" when her former flame, whom she was with for 12 years and during that time went through five bouts of IVF in order to conceive, told her that they may still be together now if they’d been able to start a family of their own.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said: "I did once ask [Grant] if he would have stayed if we’d had our own children, to which he replied: ‘Possibly.’ I shall never know, of course, but I can’t pretend that wasn’t painful to hear. It was a double blow."
The pair got married in 2000 after they met and fell in love in 1998 while they were both with other people. They then split in 2012 before reconciling briefly before separating for good in 2013 and divorcing in 2015 on the grounds of his adultery.
The blonde beauty said: "Looking back, I regret the pain we caused. It was a terrible time of hurt all round and, knowing what I know now, I am so sorry about it all. I can understand why some people think I got my comeuppance when my relationship then went on to deteriorate in the way it did. But I loved Grant and I can’t regret the 15 years we had together. There were some very happy times."
Despite suffering with a broken heart for a long time, Anthea has admitted she now feels happier than ever and is ready to go out there and find a new boyfriend.
She explained: "This is the first year I have woken up and felt normal, and not lost. I’m in a happy place and I don’t need anybody, but if someone nice were to come along I’d be open to loving again."
