Graeme Swann set for Strictly Come Dancing?

Graeme Swann is reportedly set to star in the upcoming series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 39-year-old retired cricketer is poised to follow in the footsteps of fellow sporting stars Mark Ramprakash and Darren Gough by appearing on the popular BBC show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers love a sportsman and cricketers have a great track record.
"Though Graeme might come across as a bit awkward, they’re hoping he’s got twinkle toes like some of his predecessors."
As well as Ramprakash and Gough, the programme has also previously starred the likes of Michael Vaughan, the ex-England cricket captain, and bowler Phil Tufnell.
Rumours of Swann’s inclusion in the line-up come after newsreader Kate Silverton was recently named as another of the possible contestants.
Bosses have reportedly been keen to bag the journalist for the show for the last 12 years and are excited she has finally signed on the dotted line.
An insider said: "Kate has been at the top of the producers’ wish list for more than a decade.
"But she has always put her career and family above everything. Now she’s polishing off her dancing shoes and can’t wait to get started.
"She was asked previously but was reporting on the front line in Iraq and Afghanistan so couldn’t do it. Kate has made no secret of how much she loves ‘Strictly’ so being able to take part is a dream come true."
Pussycat Dolls’ Ashley Roberts, radio presenter Vick Hope and Steps’ Faye Tozer are all said to have also signed up for the new series.
