Gordon Ramsay’s wife told him to ‘pull out’ of The Nightly Show

Gordon Ramsay’s wife told him to "pull out" of hosting ‘The Nightly Show’.
The 50-year-old celebrity chef is set to helm the ITV show this week, but after reports the programme has seen a decline in viewers, his spouse Tana has urged him to opt out of presenting the show.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about Tana’s reaction, he said: "First thing Tana said to me was, ‘Are you going to pull out?’"
However, the foul-mouthed culinary mastermind has decided not to take his partner’s advice.
He explained: "Am I f**k going to pull out.
"No. I wouldn’t do that. If I commit to something, I do it."
The ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ star has high hopes for his time on the show, and he has vowed to pull out all the stops by doing "something different" during his evening slots to get more attention.
He explained: "I just need to have a bit of fun with it.
"I know I’m going to get a kicking. It can’t get any worse. The knives are out. I quite like that.
"I’m robust. I’m going to stand strong and take the blows. I have to do something different, that’s important."
Meanwhile, Gordon – who has Megan, 18, Matilda, 15, as well as Holly and Jack, both 17 with Tana – has revealed he was forced to change the channel when he watched David Walliams take the limelight on the first string of episodes because he was getting "beaten up" by the audience.
Gordon said: "I watched the first two nights. David Walliams is a national treasure, so to see him get beaten up was a bit unfair.
"All the sarcastic remarks and vicious stuff. But the viewing figures speak for themselves."
‘The Nightly Show’ is set to finish after week eight, and in the upcoming weeks actor and funny man Bradley Walsh, followed by 35-year-old comedian Jason Manford, will take over the show.
