Gordon Ramsay has been fined £500 for speeding.
The TV chef was ordered to fork out court fees and given six penalty points on his licence on Wednesday (24.08.16) after he pleaded guilty to whizzing along the A30 near Bodmin in Cornwall at 70mph in a 40mph section on March 23, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
The 49-year-old culinary legend didn’t appear in court and a representative for him declined to comment on the outcome.
Meanwhile, the hot-headed star has had a tough few months this year as back in June he announced his wife Tana had miscarried their fifth child – five months into their pregnancy.
He said at the time: "Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks.
"We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months. We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes."
Gordon then went on to praise the staff at London’s Portland Hospital for their assistance and care throughout the heartbreaking ordeal.
He added in the personal statement: "I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. Gx (sic)"
Culinary genius Gordon announced he and Tana, 41, were expecting their fifth child during an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show’ last month.
The couple already have Megan, 17, 16-year-old twins Holly and Jack and Matilda, 14, together.
