Goldie Hawn finds motherhood "hard".
The ‘Snatched’ star – who has Oliver Hudson, 41, Kate Hudson, 38, and Wyatt Russell, 31 – admits it is tough "mothering correctly" as there isn’t much room to make a mistake when raising your kids.
She said: "It is not hard being famous, but it is hard mothering correctly. That’s hard, because you don’t want to make a mistake, and we will and we do. We laugh a lot and we are a fun family. And we love to be together. We love it. I mean, it is like our favourite thing ever."
And the 71-year-old actress has gushed about her long term partner Kurt Russell, revealing he is a "fascinating, brilliant, complex, mad man".
Speaking on The TODAY Show, she added: "He is a fascinating, brilliant, complex, mad man. Sexy, sexual, which I think is very important, by the way. Often times, the grass can look really greener on the other side, but it never did to me."
Meanwhile, Goldie previously revealed her and her daughter Kate "share everything".
She said: "A mother-daughter bond is very different. When I had Wyatt – my third, Kurt’s and mine – [Kate] came to the hospital. She was seven, and she came up to me: ‘Mommy, I’m so happy I’m your only girl. ‘I said, ‘I’m so happy too, honey.’ As we grow older together, I can’t express the amount of love, joy, laughter, sadness we share. She understands me, I understand her. We’re girls. We share everything. She’s, like, the greatest.
"My boys were amazing. And they were so loving and so kind. And Katie, we call each other and we can cry together. We know what that’s like. My sons do, too – but they’re boys. So we can cry on each other’s shoulders and laugh in each other’s faces. We have all of that."
