Gogglebox’s Steph Parker wants Strictly gig

Steph Parker wants to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star has revealed that she would love to take part in the BBC One dance show but would not be able for the rigorous moves because of a rickety spine.
She told the Metro newspaper: "I’d love to do’ Strictly’ but, lamentably, I never could because I have a very rickety spine and I’m prone to falling down a lot."
And Steph’s husband Dom revealed he would love to compete in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! but fears his picky eating habits would stop him.
He said: "I love ‘I’m A Celebrity’… but I would never do it as I’m a very picky eater."
However, the pair are currently too busy with their new show, Channel 4 series, ‘The Great Hotel Escape’, to even think about doing any other TV programmes.
Steph said: "We follow the stories and the many trials and tribulations of people running hotels.
Dom added: "Many years ago Steph and I bought The Salutation and accidentally turned it into a hotel. The B&B and hotel industry seems to be the only business people are prepared to take on with no experience or training whatsoever. We knew nothing about it, and nor do these guys featured in The ‘Great Hotel Escape’!"
Meanwhile, the pair are still coming to terms with their Gogglebox fame, with Steph explaining: "We bumped into Sir Bruce Forsyth and I was astounded that he knew exactly who we were, exactly what we were doing and exactly what we’d done."
And Dom added: "We were at a motorway services in the rain, sitting in the car eating a burger, and a lovely old boy comes and knocks on the window and asks for a selfie. We said: ‘Would you mind if we did it a little later?’ We then felt so guilty we went back into the motorway services to find him."
