Gizzi Erskine to rescue parties

Gizzi Erskine is hoping to save party hosts from festive disasters.
The 37-year-old chef has teamed up with mixer company Schweppes to launch their own Mixer Hotline service, which will allow users to call up for emergency supplies if their bottled bubbles are running low.
She said: "The amount of times I’ve run out of mixers during the party season is countless – so it made me smile to think I could help others avoid this common festive pitfall, and do it on a Vespa too with Schweppes. Here’s to a mixer-filled Christmas!"
Schweppes decided to launch the hotline – which runs in London between 5pm and 10pm on Friday (09.12.16) after research showed a third of people run out of mixers during their Christmas house parties.
Those who call the hotline will receive six bottles of Schweppes mixers including Tonic Water, Slimline Tonic Water, Soda Water, Bitter Lemon, Lemonade and Canada Dry Ginger Ale, free of charge.
Kristine Humphreys, Senior Brand Manager at Schweppes GB said: "When our research revealed just how many people in the UK run out of our products at parties, it made us even more determined to try and help their Christmas shindigs go off without a hitch. We’re so excited to launch our Mixer Hotline delivery service in London this week. Merry Christmas from Schweppes!"
Cocktail lovers in need of a set of mixers should call 0203 455 7171 from 5pm on Friday, and Schweppes aim to have deliveries to the thirsty revellers within two hours.
