Gigi Hadid and Taylor Swift are helping each other through their recent break-ups.
Taylor’s boyfriend Calvin Harris dumped her last week while Gigi and Zayn Malik have just called it quits and the close pals have been relying on each other for support.
A source told E! News: "Gigi and Taylor are actually confiding in each other as best friends during this time. They can really relate."
Gigi,21, and Zayn, 23, recently ended their seven-month romance although friends believe it is likely that they will reconcile.
A said: "Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.
"Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close."
The pair have reportedly been off and on recently and had a huge fight at Gigi’s birthday party in Los Angeles in April.
An insider explained: "During her birthday they were fighting. They have broken up and got back together a few times."
And while Gigi and Zayn could be set for a reconciliation, friends have insisted that Calvin, 32 – whose real name is Adam Wiles – and Taylor, 26, are finished for good following the recent ending of their 15-month romance.
A source said: "This all happened last week. Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them. Adam is the one that ended it. It was all done in a very mature fashion. Taylor is pretty upset but they are still in communication."
Another pal added: "Taylor was really disappointed in Calvin and felt like he wasn’t there for her. The relationship wasn’t progressing the way she wanted it to. She felt like he wasn’t taking it seriously enough and wouldn’t come through for her when she needed him most. She felt down and like her needs weren’t being met. She doesn’t want to get back together."
