‘Gifted’ is set for release on April 12.
The Fox Search Light project, which comes from ‘(500) Days of Summer’ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ director Marc Webb, is set to hit the big screen early next year.
The forthcoming flick stars real-life couple Chris Evans and Jenny Slate, who confirmed their romance in May, as well as Octavia Spencer, Lindsay Duncan and Mckenna Grace.
The movie is set in a coastal town in Florida and follows the lives of Frank (Evans), who is a single man raising his seven-year-old niece Mary, played by Grace, who has advanced mathematical abilities.
Frank wants Mary to have a normal school experience, but his mother, played by Duncan, has other plans.
Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and friend, while Slate portrays Mary’s teacher Bonnie, who looks out for her and "develops a connection" with Frank.
Meanwhile, Evans, 35, and Slate, 34, have tried to keep their budding romance under wraps but appeared to confirm the news two months ago when they stepped out at the premiere of her film ‘The Secret Life of Pets’.
The couple are very much loved up and the brunette beauty is thrilled she’s found someone who understands her job.
She said at the time: "I haven’t really had a very large premiere before so it’s nice having someone who sort of knows how it goes and also honestly, we’re just like both two teenagers from Massachusetts."
