Gethin Jones to take part in Celebrity MasterChef

Gethin Jones is set to take part in ‘Celebrity MasterChef’.
The 42-year-old TV presenter will aim to cook up a storm for judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode in the star-studded culinary show, and push himself "out of his comfort zone".
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Gethin isn’t the most confident cook but he thought ‘MasterChef’ could really push him out of his comfort zone.
"He’s said the most nerve-racking bit will be cooking his first dish for Gregg and John, but joked he’ll try and charm them into liking whatever he comes up with."
‘The One Show’ host will be joined by tennis legend Andy Murray’s mum Judy and ‘TOWIE’ star Pete Wicks, as well as ‘Top Gear’ presenter Chris Harris.
Gregg recently admitted he was "chuffed" that ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ finished filming before the coronavirus lockdown.
The 55-year-old judge praised the team behind the BBC One show, who worked extremely hard to wrap up the series before the government restricted movement to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
He previously said: "We’re chuffed that we finished it! And it really was all hands on deck to get it done.
"As the virus came creeping over the horizon we could see there would be potential problems and we worked very hard to get the series finished."
He admitted the hard work has been worth it as the upcoming series is the most fun he’s ever had working on the long-running show.
He added: "It was a massive giggle. I actually don’t think I’ve had so much fun doing a series as I have this one. There are some seriously big characters!"
