Georgina Chapman reportedly "still plans" to divorce Harvey Weinstein.
The Marchesa co-founder split from the disgraced producer – with whom she has seven-year-old daughter India and four-year-old son Dashiell – when he was first accused of sexually harassing a number of female employees over a 30-year period in October this year, and although she has not yet formally filed for a divorce, sources say that is still her intended plan of action.
A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "Georgina and Harvey have spoken briefly since the separation, but it is only about the children. That’s the only thing she really wants to discuss with him at this point. Divorce is still the plan and she has her team of lawyers in place. She is doing all right now and will be OK. She has a great support system around her and is moving on."
The news comes after it was previously reported that Georgina, 41, was pushing for a divorce although she was in no hurry to "rush" the proceedings.
An insider claimed: "Georgina is doing okay. She continues to focus on her family and work. She doesn’t want to be married to Harvey. She wants a divorce. It’s just not anything that she is rushing.
"She is a great mom and very protective her kids. She wants to stay low-key. She has no plans to do any kind of interview. That’s not her style. She is very private."
GeorginaAlyssa Milano that the designer has been doing "well" following her split from the 65-year-old former Weinstein Company co-chairman.
She said earlier this month: "Georgina is doing very well. She’s an amazing mother. She’s an amazing woman, and I think her priority right now is focusing on how to raise those two children to the best of her capacity given the situation. She goes through very dark times. She’s very sad … This is not easy for her, but I have no doubt that not only will she come out on the other side of this, but she deserves too. She’s a good woman."
