Georgia Steel and Sam Bird have left the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The pair – who were split up earlier this week in a challenge – have decided not to recouple with anyone else and have walked out of the villa together.
During the recoupling on Thursday night (19.07.18), Sam said: "I’d like to say something that’s quite important to me. Obviously, me and Georgia made a decision to split up a few days ago. Ever since then, I’ve gravitated towards Georgia. I feel like Georgia is the person I want to be with. I am falling for her. And that being said, I actually refuse to recouple and if it means I have to leave the villa then I will."
Whilst Georgia said: "I feel like the last couple of days, I’ve not only lost a guy that I really fancy but I’ve also lost my best mate. I’m not going to recouple with somebody that I would be messing with their emotions because that’s not me. I want to recouple with Sam inside the villa or outside the villa, whatever that might be."
The couple received a round of applause from the other contestants after announcing their decision. Elsewhere, Josh recoupled with Kaz as did Dani and Jack and Megan and Wes. There was a change for Laura Anderson, who was picked by Paul whilst Laura’s ex Jack Fowler opted for Laura Crane. Dr. Alex chose to recouple with make up artist Alexandra Cane and new boy Josh was left to couple up with Stephanie Lam.
‘Love Island’ continues on Friday (20.07.18) on ITV2 at 9pm.
