Georgia May Foote wants to land a movie role in Hollywood.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who was known for playing young mum Katy Armstrong in the soap until her exit last year – is desperate to crack America and has asked her management to put her forward for auditions across the pond now she’s finished touring with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
However, it seems things could get awkward for the brunette beauty as he ex-boyfriend Sean Ward, whom she split from on bitter terms last year, is also trying to crack Tinseltown.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Both Georgia and Sean are interested in movies as well as TV shows.
"Los Angeles isn’t a big place so they might well end up going for roles on the same project. It must be awkward knowing you could bump into your ex at any moment."
Meanwhile, Georgia’s new boyfriend Giovanni Pernice may not be best pleased to hear the news the actress is keen to make a career stateside as they’ve just moved in together.
The pair, who struck up a relationship when they were partnered together on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ last year, announced the happy news earlier this week when she uploaded a photograph of her new house keys on Instagram.
Georgia, 25, accompanied the picture with the caption: "We did it! Hello london life ey @pernicegiovanniofficial (sic)."
