Gene Simmons won’t work with Vinnie Vincent again

Gene Simmons won’t work with Vinnie Vincent again.
The 68-year-old rock legend doesn’t ever want to re-team with his former KISS band member – who replaced lead guitarist Ace Frehley in 1982 but was only with the heavy metal outfit for two years – because he doesn’t need "dark clouds" in his life.
When asked if he would work with Vinnie, Gene said: "No. No. He’s a very talented guy. Everybody’s got their troubles in life. You can’t fix everything. I’m a big supporter of his talent. You know, go with God. Enjoy life, be happy.
"But I don’t need more dark clouds over my life. It’s nice and calm."
Gene insisted KISS – who are also made up of Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer – have a "professional" way of doing things and wouldn’t want that to be interrupted.
Speaking to The Aquarian Weekly, he added: "Eric and Tommy have been with us for a very long time, and it’s professional to the highest degree. Everybody is happy to be together.
"Everybody shows up on time. There’s no, ‘The dog ate my homework.’ None of that crap."
After leaving the band, Vinnie claimed Gene and Paul owned him royalties for work on the group’s 1983 album ‘Lick It Up’, but a Los Angeles federal judge later ruled against him, awarding the two KISS band members $66,400 in attorney’s fees and $15,400 in costs.
Vinnie, 65, is due to appear as a special guest at the Atlanta Kiss Expo in January.
