Gareth Gates ‘so proud’ of Faye Brookes’ Corrie performance

Gareth Gates has praised his fiancée Faye Brookes for her "incredible" performance in last night’s (20.03.19) ‘Coronation Street’.
The 34-year-old singer is "really proud" of his significant other, whose character Kate Connor was distraught in last night’s ‘Corrie’ double bill when her fiancée Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) met her maker on their wedding day after the factory roof collapsed on top of her.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Gareth said: "I’ve just watched a small snippet of my beautiful lady in action, acting her heart out in the amazing ‘Coronation Street’.
"You were incredible. You absolutely smashed it.
"Obviously we’ve worked together so I know you’re a great actress. You are incredible and I’m really proud of you.
"But it’s such a shame to lose Bhavna though."
He added the caption: "So proud of my lady @faye_brookes in @coronationstreet – such amazing TRUE acting. Sad to lose the beautiful and incredibly talented @bhavnalimbachia (sic)"
Gareth and Faye headed to London eatery STK London to celebrate her performance last night.
He wrote: "Thank you @stk.london for the most amazing evening with my lady @faye_brookes – celebrating her incredible episode of @coronationstreet this evening. So proud of you baby x (sic)"
While Faye’s on-screen love life is in tatters, her relationship with Gareth off-screen is going from strength to strength after he popped the question in January.
It came just months after the pair went their separate ways last September following a six-year romance, but after reconciling the actress said the couple will "never take each other for granted again".
Quizzed on their previous split, she said: "It was for the right reasons for sure. I feel like we’ll never take each other for granted ever again.
"Work took over and we ended up missing each other so much that we were missing life together.
"We are enjoying engagement but obviously I’ve been dreaming of this [wedding] day since I was a little girl."
