Freddie Starr laid to rest today

Freddie Starr will be buried in a coffin engraved with the words ‘Return to Sender’ in a nod to Elvis Presley.
The comedian – who was famed for impersonating the iconic musician – will be laid to rest in Liverpool today (13.06.19) after passing away alone in Costa del Sol, Spain at the age of 76 last month.
One side of the late star’s coffin will be inscribed with the title of Elvis’ 1962 hit while the other will be emblazoned with the words "Liverpool legend".
It was previously reported that Freddie might not be able to afford a funeral but, after hearing the news, a funeral director stepped in to offer his services as he was such a big fan of the comedian.
Michael Fogg Family Funeral Directors wrote on Facebook: "Today we conduct the funeral for Freddie Starr. To have cared for one of this country’s best Entertainer’s has been such a privilege I can’t put it into words.
"We will be leaving our funeral home in Sheffield at 09.15 And making our way to Liverpool to lay Freddie to Rest with his beloved mother.
"Rest in peace Freddie and THANKYOU for everything (sic)".
Freddie died after suffering from a heart attack, according to the post-mortem which was carried out at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
A police insider said: "Freddie Starr died from a heart attack. There is absolutely no doubt. He had a history of heart problems and the autopsy has revealed a heart attack was the cause of his death."
Freddie had previously suffered from coronary artery disease and had a quadruple bypass following a heart attack in 2010.
