Fred Sirieix says confidence has boosted his sex life

Fred Sirieix is enjoying sex more than ever after growing in "confidence".

The ‘First Dates’ star – who affectionately calls his fiancee "Fruitcake" – admitted he likes himself "much more" than he did in his 20s, and the 48-year-old maitre d’ feels more comfortable as he has grown older.

He said: "I’ve never enjoyed sex as much as now. I think it’s a confidence thing and meeting another person who feels exactly the same way as me.

"I like myself much more than when I was 20, I’m a better human being than when I was 20. It’s that overall wisdom."

Fred met his fiancee in the street, and insisted for him it was love at first sight.

He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "It was so beautiful. When I saw her I fell in love and she smiled because she knew.

"We went for a drink and we were all over each other."

Fred – who has never been married – popped the question back in March after first announcing their romance on social media in January 2018.

He previously said: "Occasionally, I’ll go for a little wine and some tapas after work with my partner, who I like to call ‘Fruitcake’.

"It’s nice to have a relaxing conversation and chill out when you’ve had a long day. If I do get the chance to be in the kitchen, I love making fresh pasta. I find rolling it out very therapeutic and I get flour everywhere. It’s great fun."

Before meeting his significant other, Fred was previously in a long-term relationship for 12 years with the mother of his two children, 15-year-old Andrea and 10-year-old Lucien.

While Fred likes to keep his family life private, he has shared plenty of holiday snaps with his love on social media.
