Fred Sirieix delays wedding due to pandemic

Fred Sirieix has been forced to delay his wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The ‘First Dates’ star and his fiancee had been planning to tie the knot in Jamaica – but they’ve opted to delay their wedding until 2022 to ensure their friends and family will be able to attend the ceremony.

During an appearance on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Fred explained: "We’re waiting to see when we can travel because it’s important for all of our friends and family [to be there].

"We have to be patient and see what is going to happen – it is out of our control. But we are planning for early 2022 now. It’s going to be great. I can’t wait. It’s just going to be very exciting."

The couple have already started to plan their big day – but Fred insisted they’re not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

He said: "We have slowly started looking at wedding venues and where we are going to do it. But there’s no rush and we are keeping all of our options open."

Meanwhile, Fred recently revealed he is enjoying sex more than ever after growing in "confidence".

The 48-year-old TV star – who affectionately calls his fiancee "Fruitcake" – admitted he likes himself "much more" than he did in his 20s.

He said: "I’ve never enjoyed sex as much as now. I think it’s a confidence thing and meeting another person who feels exactly the same way as me.

"I like myself much more than when I was 20, I’m a better human being than when I was 20. It’s that overall wisdom."
