Frank Ocean to release new LP on Friday?

Frank Ocean will reportedly release his new album on Friday (05.08.16).
The ‘Thinking Bout You’ hitmaker is expected to unveil his long-awaited ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ LP exclusively on Apple Music.
The 28-year-old singer is also releasing a music video as well as a printed publication called ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, which will be available at Apple stores.
The album will reportedly remain exclusive to Apple Music for 14 days before it will be released elsewhere, the New York Times newspaper reports.
Fans were teased about the release of the new album when Apple Music hosted a livestream with Ocean, featuring him working in a woodworking shop. The livestream was never specifically linked with the release of his album but atmospheric music could be heard throughout, with reports that it could be snippets from his latest LP.
Meanwhile, Frank previously hinted he would initially be releasing the new album in July 2015.
At the time, he took to Tumblr to post a photo of himself looking down at two stacks of magazines.
Captioning the photo, he wrote: "I got two versions. I got twoooo versions. #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY (sic)"
‘Boys Don’t Cry’ will be Ocean’s first full-length major label album since ‘channel ORANGE’ was released in July 2012 but he has worked alongside other artists in between the release of the two albums.
