Sarah Byrne has been confirmed as one of the 2018 contestants on ‘The Apprentice.’
The 29-year-old former glamour model previously played Meena Karib in the TV series ‘Shameless’ and appeared as Bella ‘Hollyoaks’ before founding her own acting academy for children.
The mother of one hopes her appearance on the BBC show will help her be a role model to her young daughter and admitted while she’s not good with business terminology, she is angered by people in business who turn their noses up at the working-class demographic.
She said: "I am me; I don’t have a posh accent or pretend to be anyone else. My personality sells me, my passion to succeed and work ethic."
Other contestants in this year’s line-up includes 28-year-old Daniel Elahi, an owner of a lifestyle brand who has compared himself to the lead character in the 2013 film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Jordan Belfort.
He said: "I have the beauty and the brains, typically people only have one. I was blessed with both in abundance."
Also set to appear is Sabrina Stocker, a 22-year-old owner of a tennis events company who claims she’s had her eye on making money since she was just 14 and she set up a business selling retro sweets as part of a Young Enterprise Scheme.
She said: "I am a mix of Willy Wonka drinking an espresso martini… classy and sophisticated on the outside; inside, a little bit crazy and wacky but full of brilliant ideas."
Other contestants include; Alex Finn, 21, Camilla Ainsworth, 22, David Alden, 32, Frank Brooks, 27, Jackie Fast, 34, Jasmine Kundra,34, Kayode Damali, 26, Khadija Kalifa, 28, KurranPooni, 22, Rick Monk, 33, Sarah Ann Magson, 37, Sian Gabbidon, 25, and 28-year-old Tom Bunday.
