Flavia Cacace has become a dog groomer

Former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Flavia Cacace has become a dog groomer.
The 38-year-old pro dancer – who left the popular BBC show in 2012 – is now pursuing a career as a dog groomer and has become a member of the UK’s Pet Industry Federation.
A source explained: "Flavia has always loved dogs and wanted to do something with it that could earn her a wage.
"In a break between dance tours she got herself a formal City and Guilds qualification and is now looking to put it to good use."
Although Flavia still dances from time to time, she is primarily focused on her new career.
And the Italian star – who is married to ‘East Is East’ actor Jimi Mistry, having previously dated her former ‘Strictly’ dance partner Matt Di Angelo – is determined to make a success of her dog grooming venture.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "She will still be doing the occasional bit of dancing but she really wants to try to set herself up as a dog groomer now instead."
By contrast, Flavia previously admitted dancing used to be the sole focus in her life, especially during her childhood in Italy.
Recalling her early years growing up in Naples, she said: "I was a total introvert. The only thing I ever knew in my life was dance. I didn’t go out. I didn’t have boyfriends. All I did was learn steps and compete."
