Fifth Harmony: It’s a ‘struggle’ dealing with online hate

Fifth Harmony find it a "struggle" to deal with online critics.
The ‘Work from Home’ hitmakers – which includes Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui – admit it is difficult when people make nasty remarks about them on social media.
Normani shared: "It’s definitely been a struggle. Ever since day one I remember I would always look at comments online. I personally went through a really tough situation and I actually had to take it upon myself to step away from Twitter.
"I was getting a lot of hate for absolutely no reason and it really broke me down. I was away for about a month and half and I’m grateful that I took the time for myself because I felt I deserved it and I owed it to myself to step away and really find myself from social media.
"The problem is there’s no consequences so it’s very easy to say whatever you want to say without repercussions. There has so be a solution though – people are killing themselves over it and it’s so sad. People need to wake up."
And the girl group have admitted that their tour has had its "ups and downs" but they really loved the chance to see all their fans across the world.
Ally told OfficialCharts.com: "It’s been a long tour for sure, and it’s had its ups and downs, but it’s been good.
"The fans love it and we love seeing our fans, they’re so incredible. Some of them we’ve seen for the first time which is such an amazing feeling for sure. We don’t have as much time off as we’d like, but we make the most of it, so it’s been good."
