Ferne McCann is "terrified" she may have cancer.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter had to have two moles removed from her face, but now another has grown on the bridge of her nose, leading doctors to advice her to have a biopsy on it.
She told Closer magazine: "I’ve had two moles removed on my face – one on the bridge of my nose and one in my nostril crease. What is scary is that the mole on the bridge of my bridge came back so I had it lasered again but it returned more prominently.
"I’m having it completely cut out and checked that it’s not cancerous. It’s terrifying. I can’t stop thinking about it. But it’s better to be safe than sorry."
The former ‘TOWIE’ beauty was formerly a fan of sunbeds before she received the alarming news and has now sworn off them.
She continued: "I need to be so careful. That’s why I have completely ditched sun beds. I know now how crucial sun screen is."
Ferne also has other troubles with her nose as she admitted that it is her most insecure feature on her body and has had to combat internet trolls that have mocked her in the past. She admitted: "My nose has always been the one thing I’ve wanted to change, but then I’ll wake up and think, ‘No, come on, just embrace it.’ I’ve had some crazy online comments about my nose.
"I was at an event for the British Canoeing Society and someone posted: ‘It looks like you’ve got a canoe on your face.’"
"It hurts but I’ve become much thicker-skinned since being on the TV, and I have to turn a blind eye to it".
