Ferne McCann is reportedly planning to give birth on television.
The ‘This Morning’ showbiz presenter has been documenting her pregnancy over the past few months for her 90-minute special ‘First Time Mum’ and, although it was believed the cameras would stop rolling as soon as she goes into labour, she’s had a sudden change of heart and is now keen to film her little one being born into the world.
A source told The Sun Online: "Ferne has got an all-female team on standby ready for the baby to make an appearance, made up of friends and birthing partners, midwives and an all lady TV crew at the ready. There are discussions, but it might not happen.
"If it happens, it’ll be a warts and all show – nothing will be missed. But if she does change her mind, the cameras will stop running full stop."
The 27-year-old reality TV star hasn’t been seen on screens since she confirmed her pregnancy and spoke out about her baby’s father Arthur Collins allegedly throwing acid at party revellers earlier this year, but she is set to make a return to the brunch time show over the next few weeks to talk about her impending labour.
A source said recently: "Ferne still has some filming commitments and she is set to return back soon.
"She’ll talk about her pregnancy and give viewers an update on how she’s doing. Viewers are keen to know what the latest with her given the audience it attracts.
"Ferne had a difficult decision to make about putting her pregnancy on screen, but in the end she couldn’t resist the offers. Her pal Sam Faiers and Made in Chelsea’s Binky Felstead have proven that baby shows can be a smart career move."
Ferne was forced to announce her pregnancy early after Arthur was arrested on suspicion of involvement in an acid attack at London nightclub Mangle in April.
The brunette beauty dumped her now-former flame almost immediately but admitted at the time that the incident had added extra stress to her pregnancy.
