Ferne McCann has landed her first major movie role.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who has been trying to shake off her reality TV star title over the past few months – has finally got her big break after securing a part in a blockbuster alongside her idol Margot Robbie.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ferne has landed her first movie role alongside Margot. It’s going to be amazing and it’s her dream role. She’s playing a police woman, it’s as you’ve never seen her before. The film title hasn’t been decided yet and it’s all at very early stages. Ferne’s caught the eye of a lot of movie bosses."
And it looks like that won’t be the only time fans will see the 25-year-old beauty grace Hollywood as she’s reportedly been having meetings with various directors and producers while attending Cannes Film Festival in France.
Meanwhile, her latest role is a dream come true for Ferne as she’s always longed to work alongside the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star after looking towards her for inspiration.
She said recently: "Everyone’s dream role would be in a Marvel film. Or I would like to do something really sassy. I really love Margot Robbie and her career and how that’s going. Every part she does I just think, yes."
Ferne shot to fame after landing a part on ‘TOWIE’ and she then went on to win over the nation after coming third on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in December.
Over the past six months, Ferne has managed to bag herself a presenting gig on ‘This Morning’ and a leading role in the theatre production of ‘The Great Gatsby’.
